2006 - RSG, razvojno svetovanje in financiranje projektov, d.o.o. was established as a spinoff of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and initially supported by funds from CCIS. It was set up as non profit-making entity and therefore reinvested all excess income into further development of its continuing operations.

In 2006 its first investment in Bioenerg d.o.o. was successfully concluded.

2007 - RSG d.o.o. starts actively promoting its services and attending various entrepreneurial events as well as directly assisting companies in exploiting their specific business opportunities. Initial activities for fundraising among industrial investors start to take place.

In this year RSG d.o.o. invested in Bia Separations d.o.o. through convertible loan. Project with Oceantec d.o.o. is concluded. Business cooperation with Tikev d.o.o. is initiated.

2008 - RSG, razvojno svetovanje in financiranje projektov, d.o.o. transformed into venture capital management company and at the same time, changed the company’s name in RSG Capital, venture capital management, d.o.o. The ownership of the company is diversified, which facilitates independent decision making of management.  Management team members have become partners in the company.

The goal of RSG Capital is to fill in the capital gap which emerges between the phase when entrepreneurs can finance their business operations and the phase when they are eligible for debt financing from banks and similar institutions.

RSG Capital manages Prvi sklad, družba tveganega kapitala, d.o.o.. The latter invests in early stage companies.

In 2008 RSG Capital provided Elti d.o.o. with convertible loan.

In August 2008 RSG Capital invested in company Novitim, communication group, Ltd. which is the first investment RSG Capital made via fund Prvi sklad.

2009 - In May 2009 RSG Capital invested in company Celtra Inc. and in July another investment was made in company TAB Systems Inc.

2010 - By investing in ShoutEm RSG Capital made its first investment in Croatia.
