IFSEC 2010: TAB Systems wins again
The new smarti® Guardeon access control unit by Tab Systems Inc. was declared the Access Control Product of the Year at the IFSEC 2010 Security Industry Awards. This marks the fifth year in a row that the smarti® has been shortlisted as one of the best new access control products and is the second award the company has received at IFSEC.
Smarti® Guardeon combines an integrated proximity card reader with multimodal biometric face and voice recognition, thereby providing higher security and inhibiting system abuse. It also offers an elegant, slim design, low power consumption and a myriad of other features that makes it an easy choice for users across a wide range of categories. Guardeon is also protocol independent and can therefore be used to control almost any kind of electronic device (different sensors, electronic locks, lights, alarm systems, finger print scanners...).
