In January 2012, the Smarti team participated in the leading regional trade event in the security, safety and protection industries INTERSEC that recently concluded its 14th edition at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Recognized as the region’s authoritative trade and networking event for the security, safety and policing community in the wider region, Intersec is considered the most significant trade show of its kind outside of Europe. It enjoys the support and cooperation of UAE Civil Defence, Dubai Police and Dubai Police Academy as well as recognition from security agencies and authorities across the region. Key areas of interest in Intersec 2012 were Commercial and IT Security, the largest segment with over 500 exhibitors. TAB Systems was presenting its smarti^® solutions together with its regional distributor and raised interest of a number of prominent visitors.
