Trapview moving to the next level with a new investment

Prvi sklad's portfolio company Trapview, a technology leader in automated pest monitoring, has announced a new equity investment from a Dutch impact investor, Pymwymick Healthy Ecosystems Impact Fund. The investment will allow the company to accelerate its growth by enhancing its presence in the key markets

Trapview, a pest insect monitoring and forecasting platform developed by Efos, has first raised funding from Prvi sklad in 2012, allowing it to develop the initial version of its automated pest monitoring system. In the past two years Trapview has been upgraded with artificial intelligence based processing of trap data and forecasting of pest development stages in a specific area. This positions Trapview as key decision support tool for planning field activities and for optimal usage of crop protection.

As the company's co-founder and CEO Matej Štefančič says, the investment supports the team in developing Trapview into a far more advanced professional service and brings the team a few steps closer to accomplishing their vision of enabling better and more sustainably grown food for everyone.
