PODIM - Conference on Entrepreneurship
The 32nd PODIM conference was held on 4th and 5th April in Maribor, bringing together key representatives of Slovenian entrepreneurial ecosystem
PODIM is Slovenia’s most known
conference on entrepreneurship. Two-day event has traditionally been a major
get-together of key stakeholders in Slovenian technology entrepreneurship.
Through a series of round tables, lectures and workshops held at the
conference, acknowledged Slovenian and foreign guests present their experience in
building technology start-ups both from practical and also academic
perspectives.
As in the past few years, RSG Capital co-sponsored the event, while our team also participated in the conference program. CEO of RSG Capital and Chairman of the Slovenian Venture Capital Association Jure Mikuž participated in the opening session of the conference and was a guest of the round table dedicated to the importance of experience, success and primarily failure for an entrepreneur.
Representatives of two RSG Capital’s portfolio companies also participated at the conference. Matevz Klanjsek (Celtra) was one of the panelists discussing the interdependence of business, arts and creative industries. Sasa Sarunic (ShoutEm) participated in the roundtable on mobile technologies and the way they revolutionize our life and business.
