Through Regional Top Class program for ICT companies, which is organized by CEED Slovenia in cooperation with other CEED centres in the region, RSG Capital has an opportunity to establish contact with IT companies from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo, as well as with other organizations and institutions offering different services to entrepreneurs in order to help them on their way to success. Two modules of the program were held in Ljubljana and Sofia, two more are to be held in Macedonia and Serbia, and the final module is taking place in the United States in October.

On Saturday, May 15th, the Financing in Bulgarian IT conference took place at the American University in Sofia. All key Bulgarian investors interested in IT and Bulgarian entrepreneurs who are either looking for or have already received a VC investment in their companies were present at the conference. At one of the panels Jure Mikuž, director and partner, shared his experiences and presented RSG Capital’s interest in investing in Bulgarian companies.

The 5th regional annual RCI conference, organized by the Regional Competitiveness Initiative (RCI) and sponsored by USAID, was held in Sarajevo last week. It was themed Competitiveness, Finance and Economic Growth, and attended by numerous experts and representatives of organizations which support the development of entrepreneurship and business environment in the region. Nataša Tomić, an RSG Capital representative, took part in a panel discussion where representatives of financial institutions discussed the characteristics and needs of financial markets in the countries of Southern and Southeastern Europe. She outlined the current situation on the venture capital market in the SEE region.
