Jure Mikuž, Managing director & partner
Jure Mikuž, Managing director and partner, holds MBA in management. Before joining RSG Capital, Venture Capital Management, Ltd. he was deputy head of Asset management at KD BPD, where he led a team of portfolio managers and financial analysts and actively participated in business planning, information technology development and company restructuring. Prior to that he worked as deputy head of investment department at KD Investments where he was responsible for portfolio management of mutual funds. He started his career as stock broker at eBrokers and continued as head of brokerage department at Poteza BPH. He is active member of various business associations and has published several articles about capital markets and venture capital practice in several Slovene newspapers and journals. He is member of different expert teams evaluating business plans.
Tatjana Zabasu, Investment director & partner
Tatjana Zabasu, Investment director and partner, holds MSc in business and economics. Before joining RSG Capital, she was Senior Associate in Corporate finance department of Deloitte Slovenija, where her focus was on transaction support services. She was involved in and has managed a number of projects in this area as well as projects in the area of strategic development plans, valuation services and sell-side advisory. Prior to that, she was Head of the Office of the Minister of Economy and was actively involved in designing and implementation of programs for competitiveness and entrepreneurship promotion in Slovenia. She mainly worked in the area of continuous improvement and cluster development, also as a member of the international network of consultants The Competitiveness Institute. She started her career in the Research centre of the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, where she was coordinator of research activities.
Mateja Mešl, Adviser & partner
Mateja Mešl, Adviser and partner, holds MSc in sociology and planning. As Vice-president of the CCI (2004-2006) she initiated the foundation of RSG Capital and has been a member of team from the very beginning. Her professional career started in research institute. In 1990 she established her first enterprise NOV’NA d.o.o. and later two more, regional SME support agency A.L.P. d.o.o. and training institution Gea College. For four years (2000-2004), she was appointed by the Government of Slovenia as State Secretary for entrepreneurship and competitiveness. Throughout her career she has developed different experience and broad network of contacts in science, business and business support institutions. Her professional expertise lies in strategic planning, project management and organization, especially on the field of business cooperation and clustering. She is active in various business and technology development groups i.e. technology networks, clusters and business associations.
Nina Prosen, Legal adviser
Nina Prosen, Legal adviser, holds a degree in law. She actively participated in the establishment process of RSG Capital responsible for set up of internal organisation, internal acts and rules. She is a member of the team from the beginning. Before joining RSG Capital she worked at legal department of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, where her focus was representing interests of Chamber members in the legislation process as well as advising them in their day to day operations mainly in the field of corporate law.
Nataša Tomič, Analyst
Nataša Tomič holds degree from the Faculy of social science. During her studies she gained a lot of different skills and experiences mainly from field of marketing. She was working also as insurance agent and as tutor for mathemathics for few years. Before she started working at RSG Capital she was working at Ljubljana university incubator where she was responsible for PR and project management.

Mirjana Dimc Perko
Mirjana Dimc Perko, MBA, member of the Management Board of Gorenje Group, responsible for finance and economics. She has started her career in investment management and consultancy, among others she was a partner and director of the company Inconsult and later vice president of the management board of Triglav, DZU and director of STEBER 1, Mutual Fund.
Her rich references and experiences are connected to corporate and global finance with expertise on corporate management and restructuring, disposals and acquisitions. She is a member of Supervisory Board of the Mutual Pension Fund and active member of different professional and management associations.
Samo Hribar Milič
Samo Hribar Milič, Msc in Sociology, is General Manager of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Before that, as Secretary General of the Slovenian Employers Association, he was actively involved in social dialog in Slovenia and in EU. In his career he was active on the field of public relations, among others as a director of leading Slovenian PR company, Pristop and in management consulting on human resource development topics. He was engaged in many Slovenian companies and lecturing at Gea College, the first private high school on entrepreneurship in Slovenia.
Andrej Kren
Andrej Kren holds a law degree. He is president of the Management Board of FMR d.d., financial and management company with the expertise on investment management. His references and experiences are both from the public sector, working on the field of international cooperation and trade and from the private sector in business planning and management.
Rok Uršič
Rok Uršič is founder and director of a high-tech company, Instrumentation Technologies, world’s leading provider of beam stabilization instruments for particle accelerators.
His career started in research, in number of internationally recognized R&D institutions, in Europe and USA. Throughout his research and entrepreneurial career he developed knowledge and references both in specialized technologies and in management, focusing on development and management of top class development teams as a key for globally successful business. He is active as a promoter of the technology development in the region, being initiator and the first manager of regional technology park.
Iva Žagar
Iva Žagar, MSC of economy, is procurator in Sava d.d., responsible for business finance and banking arrangements.
Her career is strongly connected to the finance and banking sector, in different managerial positions in the largest Slovenian bank, Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB). She is member of supervisory boards of companies in Sava Group and National Financial Company (NFD). She holds a license on business finance and is active member of business finance association.

Jure Božič
Jure Božič is founder and managing director of Our Space, company active in the area of restructuring business processes and monitoring of IT reform implementation. He started his career as application designer in Iskra CAOP, where he was later promoted to head of the IT center and finally to the company’s manager. He started his own company Aster and after that took the position of regional manager for Silicon Graphics subsidiary in Switzerland. Throughout his professional career he gained relevant experience in venture capital industry.
Boštjan Bregar
Boštjan Bregar is managing director of MARG d.o.o. He started his professional career at Hermes SoftLab as software engineer and was soon promoted to managing director responsible for software development. He later joined StorScape in Boston, where he was in charge of merger between Hermes SoftLab and Eurologic. After returning to Slovenia, he was in charge of restructuring and revitalisation of development department, portfolio outsourcing and account management in a company Actual.
Miomir Knežević
Miomir Knežević holds PhD in biotechnology from University of Ljubljana. Currently he is the Head of the Unit for collection and processing of haematopoietic stem cells at Transfusion centre in Ljubljana. Prior to his current employment he worked as researcher and managing director and has cooperated with different institutes in Slovenia, Austria and Belgium. He is cofounder of several companies engaged in biotechnology, which received financing from different venture capital funds. He also worked as a national expert on detachment in the unit for Applied Genomics and Biotechnology for Health in directorate Health, DG Research, European Commission, Brussels.
Uroš Marter
Uroš Marter holds MSc in finance from Boston College. He is cofounder and managing director of Arkas d.o.o., a company specialising in Boutique Investment Banking. His professional career started in AF Partners, London, where he worked as investment professional responsible for reviewing, analysing and structuring private equity and venture capital investments in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Before joining AF Partners he worked at Merrill Lynch, New York, specialising in investment banking with a focus on capital-raising for private equity, venture capital and opportunistic real estate funds.

Andra Dodič
Andra Dodič holds a degree in electro-technical and computer engineering and MSc in management and organisation. Currently she is Head of new products development program at Kolektor Sikom d.o.o., global strategic supplier of commutators, where she initially worked as electric machinery constructor and project manager.
Tomaž Karčnik
Tomaž Karčnik holds PhD in electronic technology. Presently he is Head of development at Instrumentation Technologies, leading provider of beam stabilization instruments for particle accelerators. He has successfully established development department as one of the key departments in the company by applying his technical knowledge and business experience. His professional career started in academia, working as assistant professor and researcher at Tohoku University, Japan and at Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technion, Haifa.
Blaž Nardin
Blaž Nardin holds PhD in mechanical engineering. Presently he is CEO of Gorenje Orodjarna d.o.o. He gained most of his professional experience in TECOS – Slovenian Tool and Die Technology Development Centre working as researcher, project manager, Head of CAE Department and finally as managing director of TECOS. Throughout his career he has also lead courses for technical and marketing strategies in tool and mould making. In addition, he was evaluator of EU 6. FP programs. He is well known for his professional expertise in manufacturing as well as his activities in promoting cooperation between science and business.
Emil Vizovišek
Emil Vizovišek has a degree in chemical technology. At present he is member of the management board in Sava d.d., responsible for development and technology. In his career in technology development area he gained specific knowledge and experience in quality and continuous improvement systems, project design and management as well as strategic investment and product development. He is active member in a range of business associations and president of supervisory board of two companies owned by holding company Sava d.d..
